Cargoh

There was a thread in the Etsy forums yesterday about a new online venue called Cargoh. I decided to put up a few items there, on a lark. I think they have a much better and more effective listing format than Etsy does (as there are only two pages to fill out for a listing, instead of Etsy’s whopping five), although there are certainly a lot of kinks to be worked out. You can check out my Cargoh store here, although be warned: I only have a handful of items there right now. I like the fact that you don’t have to be a Cargoh user to purchase one of my items; Etsy makes all buyers register with the site before purchase. In addition, buyers can purchase things directly with their credit card, without having to go through PayPal (or so I understand it).

I have  high hopes for Cargoh and hope that I can eventually use it as a compliment to my Etsy store, which I do still love very much! I don’t think it’s ever a good idea to put all of your eggs in one basket, so perhaps Cargoh will be a good alternative for my buyers! As always, if you see anything in my Etsy shop that you would like, but don’t want to purchase via Etsy, email me to purchase in another fashion.
